We, the members of House of Ukraine, Inc., are organized to offer hospitality to all people of Ukrainian birth or descent, as well as foster and cultivate a spirit of understanding, goodwill, and cooperation among the various national groups represented in the House of Pacific Relations, International Cottages, Incorporated (HPR), with continuous efforts to bring Ukrainian culture to the attention of thousands of California residents and tourists every year.

House of Ukraine, Inc. is a member of the House of Pacific Relations International Cottages, Incorporated, (HPR), Balboa Park, San Diego, California, founded in 1935 and is a non-profit community organization dedicated to furthering cooperation and understanding between national groups in the United States. At present, 2007, HPR consists of 31 national groups. Two-thirds of these groups, including House of Ukraine, Inc., have their own small cottage in San Diego’s Balboa Park. This cottage, furnished and manned by members of our organization, presents exhibits about our culture, history and traditions. All work is done by unpaid volunteers.(bwl07/07)
