Please join us for a family-day celebration of Ukrainian food and culture in Balboa Park.
Bring your kids and parents - bring your blankets and beach chairs - stay all day and visit with friends.
Joining us from Los Angeles will be the Chervona Kalyna Ukrainian Dance Ensemble.
All activities will be in the vicinity of the House of Ukraine cottage.
Food sales begin at noon. Dance program begins at 2 pm.
But don't wait until September, since the San Diego Balboa Park Hospitality Cottage for Ukraine is open every Sunday from noon to 4 pm.
The House of Pacific Relations and all of its cottages (including the House of Ukraine) are open to visitors of Balboa Park in San Diego, California every Sunday afternoon, from noon until 4 p.m.
Each cottage is a one-room museum showcasing a different nationality and ethnic culture.
Balboa Park has many attractions, so bring yourself plus family and friends.
Note: The 2009 Ukrainian Festival will be limited just to the Lawn Program, in order to allow the volunteer staff to concentrate on preparing for the very extensive 50th anniversary program scheduled for next year (Y2010).
